NRC ISSUES PARTIAL INITIAL DECISION
ON LOUISIANA ENERGY SERVICES LICENSE APPLICATION
The Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Atomic Safety and
Licensing Board has issued a partial initial decision on the
application of Louisiana Energy Services for a license to build a
uranium enrichment plant in Claiborne Parish near Homer, La. The
decision resolves three of the contentions filed by Citizens
Against Nuclear Trash seeking to block the license.
The 73-page report is available at NRC Region IV. Copies
will be mailed upon request.
