Important Notice for filers of Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax Returns

The new Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax Return (TTB F 5300.26) and Coupon (TTB F 5300.27) forms are now available.

TTB’s National Revenue Center (NRC) will be mailing a copy of the new forms along with a Penalty Information Sheet and “50 Gun Exemption to the Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax (FAET) Information Sheet” to every excise taxpayer on record.

Before using the new return or coupon, please make additional copies for your continued use during the year.  

The new forms have 2 items of great importance.

1. If you pay by check, please notice the paper check conversion statement at the bottom of the form.
2. THERE IS A NEW MAILING ADDRESS FOR FILING FORMS! Please be sure to mail your returns to the new address in St. Louis, Missouri.  That address is TTB, Excise Tax, P.O. Box 979055, St. Louis, MO  63197-9000.
