There are several ways to direct inquiries. However, please note that International Information Programs is a Bureau in the Department of State whose purpose is to inform foreign citizens about the United States and its foreign policy. We are unable to respond to general information questions.

To report a technical problem on America.gov, such as a bad link, broken image, or search engine failure, or to alert us of an accessibility problem if you use special adaptive or assistive equipment to access our site, please use our Feedback Form. When describing the problem, be sure to include the URL of the page on which you experienced the issue.

To express your opinion about a political issue or topic related to U.S. foreign policy, you may send a message to the Secretary of State. The Bureau of Public Affairs Web site also provides other points of contact within the Department and a list of Frequently Asked Questions.

• Please direct visa questions to the U.S. Department of State Visa Services or to the American Embassy or Consulate in your country.
