Access and Travel Management Planning
The 2005 Travel Management Rule states that each national forest and grassland
must specifically designate all roads, trails and areas open to motor vehicle
use.

Recreation Facility Analysis
The Siuslaw National Forest is proposing future management of developed recreation
sites through a process called "Recreation Facility Analysis." Information

OHV Sand Camping Project
Under the guidance of the Oregon Dunes Management Plan, the Siuslaw National
Forest proposes to implement the OHV-Sand Camping Project to designate dispersed
camping sites in the off-highway vehicle areas of the Oregon Dunes National
Recreation Area (ODNRA). This proposed action identifies the quantity and locations
of sand camping opportunities on the ODNRA. MORE
Alcohol Ban for OHV Riding Areas
As part of a plan to provide for a safer off-highway vehicle recreation
experience, the Siuslaw National Forest is banning alcohol possession in
off-highway vehicle riding areas in the Sand Lake Recreation Area and the
Oregon Dunes
