Forensic Photography III
This two-week course is open to photographers, police/fire investigators, evidence technicians, and/or crime laboratory personnel responsible for photographic operations within their department or agency. In this course students will utilize imaging, lighting, processing, and printing techniques learned from all the previous photographic courses they have completed. Students will be required to complete numerous assignments, including scanning negatives from previous forensic classes and printing those negatives 1:1 (to scale) using digital printers and conventional wet processing systems. Photographic assignments will also include scanning documents using flatbed scanners in addition to imaging by 35mm D(digital)SLR, photographing objects using Luminol, as well as using infrared and ultraviolet photography. There will be a final exam and portfolio review for successful completion of this course.
Pre-requisites
Police Photography (Preferred) or Latent Fingerprint Photography and
Forensic Photography I, Forensic Photography II, and Digital Imaging of Evidentiary Photography, no exceptions.
