Environmental Impact Statement
The first public input stage for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is known as the Notice of Intent and is published in the Federal Register. The Notice of Intent requests the public’s input on identifying issues to address and suggestions for designing the EIS alternatives.

Comment Period ended APRIL 30, 2003.
