I feel that it is very important that labeling explains exactly what is in herbal supplements and the possible side effects and drug interactions. Too many people find out about an herbal product and begin taking it not understanding the side effects and/or drug interactions. Fen Fen is a perfect example. I had a company I represented that had that product and the president of the company died while up skiing because he was taking Fen Fen to loose five pounds. He was 42 and left behind his wife and two little girls. People don't understand that just because it's an herb doesn't mean it's safe.
