2007 IMPLAN Data
Thursday, 31 July 2008

The current IMPLAN data sets are for the year 2007. This data was released in October of 2008.

Notes on 2007 IMPLAN Data
The IMPLAN 2007 data structural matrices now incorporate the “new” BEA 2002 US Benchmark tables that were released in late 2007. Revision to 2007 IMPLAN Structural Matrices
Thursday, 13 November 2008

The originally released IMPLAN 2007 structural matrices have been revised. If you downloaded or installed the 2007 Structural Matrices prior to 11AM CST on November 13th, it is recommended that you download and  re-install the updated version.  Changes include retail margins and shorter industry titles. Matrices were further revised on December 29th to update deflators to match BLS 2006-2016 employment growth model implicit output deflators.

Support Policy Change
Tuesday, 15 July 2008

MIG has moved to a “web-only” support policy. Please direct all support inquiries to the IMPLAN user support forums. You can still expect the same thorough and timely support you are used to receiving, and you may find that you recieve your answers more quickly than you had previously. We strive to answer all posts to our support forums within three business hours. If you have a confidential question, or do not want to ask your question in a public forum, just post your question in our secure online help system by clicking here, or click Support on the main menu at the top of the sceen and select Post a confidential question in the forum. We apologize that we will no longer be able to offer telephone support for products that have already been purchased. MIG is adopting this new policy to serve you better, and so that we can concentrate on new and innovative products like IMPLAN Version 3 and the 2007 data set. Please consider that when you post your question to a public forum it allows others to benefit from our knowledge, and helps us to provide an even larger knowledge base for all of our customers. If you require immediate assistance, MIG still offers consultation services.

Please note: This policy does not include presales or order-related questions or calls.
