John Schunak is a founding board member of the Buffalo Chapter of InfraGard and its president for the past three years. Mr. Schunak has been instrumental in growing the Buffalo Chapter with his extensive connections in the business community. Under his leadership, he has increased membership from 172 members to over 260 members.
In 2002, Mr. Schunak became an InfraGard board member and has worked diligently to ensure that the efforts of the Buffalo Chapter were embedded into the Western New York technical and business community. After completing the FBI’s Citizens’ Academy in 2006, it was apparent that he could develop the chapter and take InfraGard to the next level, considering his leadership skills and his knowledge of parliamentary procedure. His extended involvement with the banking community has spurred the development of cyber protection measures and prevention initiatives. He has continued to expand those partnerships to create an atmosphere for the FBI to offer assistance.
Mr. Schunak is a dedicated community volunteer in both the Western New York Boy Scouts and his church. He donates his time to countless other community activities and consistently advocates for the FBI; his efforts and work have contributed to a safer community. |
