ETA REGIONAL INFORMATION ALERT 006-04

SUBJECT:     Request for Comment - ETA Management Information and Longitudinal Evaluation Reporting System; OMB Number 1205-0NEW

PROGRAM(S):         WIA

1.  Purpose.  To transmit a request for public comment on a proposed new Information Collection Request (ICR), which will be submitted to the Office of Management and Budget for review and comment, concerning Workforce Investment Act program reporting on the ETA Management Information and Longitudinal Evaluation (EMILE) reporting system.

4. Substance. The Department is soliciting comments on the establishment of EMILE, a single, streamlined reporting and recordkeeping program covering 12 programs under the legislation listed in the Reference section of this Alert.

5.  Action.  Program administrators are requested to share this Information Alert with appropriate staff and other agencies, and are invited to comment, on or before September 14, 2004, to the individual listed in the Addresses section of the Federal Register attachment.
