A Message from Governor Perdue

First of Six Office of Economic Recovery Workshops Scheduled

I'd like to invite you to attend the first of six workshops across the state designed to further explain how best to work with the Office of Economic Recovery and Investment to put federal dollars to work in your community. We'll start in Winston-Salem on April 28, then hold additional workshops in Asheville, Charlotte, Greenville, Raleigh and Wilmington in the next few weeks.

Office of Economic Recovery and Investment Director Dempsey Benton will lead the workshops. You'll have an opportunity to hear representatives from the state agencies administering economic recovery funds in North Carolina as they explain what's been happening with the funds thus far, what's coming up, and how to participate in the process.
