Rebecca has broad professional experience working with people of all ages in the fields of mental health, geriatrics, physical and developmental disabilities, and complex medical conditions. Rebecca began her career with the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services 26 years ago at Harborview Developmental Center in Valdez.  Since then Rebecca has served Alaskans across the State from a variety of positions based in Palmer, Wasilla, Fairbanks, and Anchorage. 

Rebecca currently serves as a Commissioner on the Commission on Aging and is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator. As Director of Senior and Disabilities Services, Rebecca is responsible for providing leadership and primary oversight to the following: Home and Community Based Waiver and Grant services, Personal Care Assistance, Adult Protective Services, Quality Assurance, Aging and Disability Resource Centers, and the Senior Information Office.
