Remarks: Medina may have a gold-rimmed front tooth. He has ties to Chicago, Illinois; North Carolina; and Zacatecas, Mexico. At the time of the homicide, Medina was an illegal alien in the United States.

CAUTION

Carlos Medina is wanted for his alleged involvement in the murder of one woman and the attempted murder of a second woman in Cleveland, Ohio. On February 10, 2002, Medina allegedly confronted his estranged wife and one of her relatives outside a bar in Cleveland attempting to convince his estranged wife to move back in with him. Upon exiting the bar, Medina allegedly slashed both women numerous times with a knife, resulting in the death of his estranged wife and the severe wounding of her relative. On February 25, 2002, Medina was charged locally with aggravated murder with mass specification and attempted murder. He was subsequently charged in a federal arrest warrant with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution on February 28, 2002.

Medina is also wanted for questioning in the 1995 stabbing death of a male victim, which occurred in Baldwin Park, California.
