August 26, 1996: Washington, D.C. -- The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has branded as Atotally false and malicious@ a bogus news release that says Congress has approved a new round of buyouts for federal workers. [News Release]

August 23, 1996: OPM Director Jim King announced the names of 12 local Combined Federal Campaigns to receive awards for the charitable donations of federal employees, servicemen and women, and postal employees. [News Release]

August 20, 1996: Washington, D.C.--Members of the Quality Partnership Network, which represents partners from the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) and more than 10 federal agencies across New York and New Jersey, appeared before the Clinton Administration’s National Partnership Council (NPC) this summer to discuss customer service gains made in their agencies.
