You are eligible if you:

• retired on an immediate annuity under the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS), the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) or another retirement system for employees of the Federal Government;
• retired for disability under CSRS, FERS, or another retirement system for employees of the Federal Government.
• are a survivor annuitant (receiving a survivor annuity or receiving or having received a Basic Employee Death Benefit)

Former spouses receiving an apportionment of an annuity are not eligible.  Insurable interest annuitants are not eligible unless they also qualify as an eligible family member.  Deferred annuitants are not eligible.
