When is the next Open Season?

Answer:

The Federal Employees' Group Life Insurance (FEGLI) Program does not have an annual open season. Open seasons are infrequent. Check the FEGLI website for updates.

Instead, you should advise employees that they can elect new or increase existing coverage by either experiencing a life event or by providing satisfactory medical evidence of insurability, as described in the FEGLI Handbook.
