Jason Meyer

Mr. Jason Meyer grew up in Eagle River, Alaska and attended Chugiak High School. He received his BS from Colorado State University, majoring in Chemical Engineering. After returning to the State to work with BP, he joined the Peace Corps, serving as a math and science teacher in the South Pacific nation of Vanuatu. Upon returning, he obtained his Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, focusing on energy policy.

Jason is the Energy Program Fellow, assisting the Energy Program with the alternative and renewable energy initiative, as well as providing policy analysis, development, and implementation for the Commission.

In addition to energy topics, Jason enjoys traveling and photography. He hopes to spend his free time in the mountains, hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing, as well as capturing the sights with his camera.
