Robert Martin, Jr., PE - Goldbelt Corporation Print E-mail

Bob Martin has spent his career in the electric utility and transportation industry, having been CEO of Alaska's largest and one of the smallest public utilities, and has been Regional Director for DOT&PF as well as Regional Transportation Engineer for BIA.

He is a life-long Alaska Native, born in Kake, and is a graduate of JDHS, Haskell Institute and University of Alaska. He has a degree in electrical engineering and is a registered professional engineer.

Bob currently serves as a member of the Board of Regents of the University of Alaska, the Board of Directors for the Juneau Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Trustees of the Sealaska Heritage Institute and is currently Vice President of Operations for Goldbelt.

He is a veteran, having served in Germany during the Vietnam era as Tempest Officer for Europe. He received an Army Commendation medal for his work there and was discharged in 1972 with the rank of Captain.
