Virtual National Career Services Conference

United States Office of Personnel Management - Working for America, Partnership for Public Service

On June 5 - 7, 2007 the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the Partnership for Public Service presented a Virtual National Career Services Conference (VNCSC). The VNCSC provided college and university career counselors, faculty and students with information about Federal employment, Federal student programs and exciting opportunities available for students and graduates as Federal employees. Federal careers offer competitive benefits, professional development and personal satisfaction for those with a strong desire to serve the public.

On any given day, there are thousands of job openings in the Federal Government. In addition, many Federal employees are eligible to retire within the next decade. These retirements will create even more opportunities in a wide variety of different fields for talented Americans to join Federal public service.

If you were unable to join us for our live webcasts, please view one of the many presentations available on this website for more information about opportunities in Federal public service.
