Mr.
Schiff: It's a few years in prison
for a Mississippi man caught having
child pornography at home
Ms.
Madden: "He was sentenced to
four years in prison; 10 years supervised
release and a $7,500 fine."
Mr. Schiff: That's
Deborah Madden at the FBI's Jackson,
Mississippi, office. She says the
FBI takes child porn cases seriously
Ms. Madden: "As stated by
Jackson Special Agent in Charge Frederick
Brink, 'The FBI will continue to work
tirelessly to identify, investigate
and prosecute the child pornographers,
sexual predators and others who would
do harm to our children.' "
Mr. Schiff: Madden
says the subject had hundreds of illegal
images on his computer
Ms. Madden: "The investigators
found over 700 images to include photographs
and videos which contained both verifiable
and suspected child pornography including
images of 37 known victims."
Mr. Schiff: Madden
says this guy didn't produce the images
Ms. Madden: "He was guilty
only of downloading and possessing"
Mr. Schiff:
If you know of anyone who's involved
in this illegal activity or has been
a victim, contact the nearest FBI
office. I'm Neal Schiff of the Bureau
and that's the FBI's Closed Case of
the Week."
