The Advocacy Pulse Special Edition: 2008 State Legislative Wrap-Up

Advocacy staff across the nation made tremendous progress over the past year in helping to achieve the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association mission. We played an important role in implementing established advocacy techniques. Traditional AHA events such as Lobby Day, Heart Walk, Heart of the Hill and Go Red For Women have educated thousands of people about cardiovascular disease and stroke, and many have joined the You’re the Cure network.
