On January
19, Director Robert Mueller spoke with members
of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce during its
Policy Insiders breakfast in Washington,
D.C.
His message? That the FBI is absolutely committed to protecting U.S. businesses and the nation’s economy in this age of globalization—whether it’s dismantling terrorist networks that seek to attack U.S. businesses and hurt economies around the world…tracking down cyber villains who disrupt e-commerce by hacking corporate websites, sending bits of malicious code across the Internet, or ripping off American artistic creations…or taking down national and international organized crime rings that siphon billions of dollars in revenues from legitimate industries.
