StormReady®
Communties and Counties/Parishes
Being
a StormReady® community means that a community or county/parish
has taken the initiative to ensure it's citizens are prepared
to deal with deadly and destructive severe weather events. This
has been accomplished by meeting established National Weather
Service criteria for the reception and dissemination of emergency
weather information and community preparedness activities.
