The TV season ramps up again with the return of In Treatment, Rescue Me, and The Tudors on cable. The networks spring up five new shows: Bob Saget returns as a dad Surviving Suburbia, and Amy Poeler seeks some Parks & Recreation. A murder mystery haunts Harper's Island, while it's more cops in NBC's Southland and ABC's The Unusuals.

It's no act that St. Vincent's second album is racking up the raves. Continuing its comeback, the latest album from the new incarnation of the New York Dolls was produced by Todd Rundgren. Akron/Family continues on as a trio with its fourth album. Other major releases include albums from Ciara, Peaches, and Ben Harper And Relentless7.

Games based on films haven't been critical darlings, but The Chronicles of Riddick FPS series has bucked this trend. Assault on Dark Athena includes a reinvention of 2004's wildly successful Escape from Butcher Bay in addition to an entirely new chapter. Also in stores is the gangster-themed open-world action game The Godfather II.
