Other Activities
The National Institute on Environmental Health Sciences and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency are jointly sponsoring a number of environmental health centers to study the causes of autism and other related disorders. The NICHD, other NIH Institutes, federal agencies, and private companies support a number of clinical trials in autism and related disorders. Many of these trials are currently seeking participants.
