The FBI is offering a reward up to $10,000 in United States dollars (2 million Guyana dollars), for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Hubert Daniel Thompson in Georgetown, Guyana.

DETAILS SURROUNDING THE CRIME

The FBI seeks the public's help in locating unidentified suspect(s) in the murder of a U.S. citizen. Hubert Daniel Thompson, of Staunton, Virginia, was murdered in his hotel room on December 9, 2005. His death resulted from the loss of blood due to multiple strikes to the back of his head with a hard, blunt object. Mr. Thompson was in Guyana working in the capacity of a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) advisor. He was 55 years old.
