ECF Training Registration

Attorneys receive 4 CLE credits for ECF training. To register, select one or more desired training dates, then complete and submit the registration form and training application/pre-class exercises directly below. Per the court's hardware/software requirements, you must have a full version of Adobe Acrobat (i.e., not just the free "Reader") to successfully complete the registration process.

Class Objectives

In ECF Training, attorneys and legal assistants will learn to:
Access and log into ECF
Locate the correct ECF menu item
Enter the data necessary to electronically file cases and documents
Pay filing fees via the Internet credit card program
Understand and use the Notice of Electronic Filing
Use the queries, reports, and utilities available in ECF
Find ECF procedures and reference materials
Contact the court for assistance with questions or errors.

ECF Training does not cover these topics:

Converting word processing documents to PDF format. Instructions are given in the Application for Training and Pre-Class Training Exercises
Acquiring and configuring hardware and software. More information is provided in Hardware/Software Requirements
Setting up petition software to work with ECF. Contact your petition software provider.
