CAUTION
An unknown male suspect is wanted for his alleged involvement
in the robbery of a bank in Somerville, Massachusetts. On the
morning of May 26, 2007, a bank employee entered the vault area
of the bank and noticed that it had been opened. The vault was
empty and various items were thrown about. The police were called
and, after they arrived, a female bank teller was discovered
tied to a chair with duct tape. This bank teller then claimed
that she had been kidnapped the night before.
The teller reported that at approximately 10 p.m. on May 25,
2007, she had just finished some shopping and went to her vehicle.
As she entered her vehicle, she felt a gun to her head and was
made to move the rearview mirror so she could not see the suspect.
The teller was then allegedly forced to drive throughout the
Boston area while the suspect asked her for details about the
bank. At approximately 6 a.m. on May 26, 2007, the suspect had
the teller drive to the bank where she worked. When they arrived,
the suspect allegedly commanded the teller to open the bank and
the vault, and to place duct tape over the bank's camera. The
suspect allegedly emptied the vault and tied up the teller with
duct tape before he fled the area.
The only description of the suspect is that he wore blue surgical
gloves.
It is not known if the suspect worked alone, or if there are
more individuals involved in this crime.
