The Revolutionary Action Movement(RAM), an all black membership organization, is described as a highly militant secretive organization which follows the Chinese-oriented Marxist Leninist line and believes in replacing the capitalistic system with socialism. This group was organized in the winter of 1963 by a group of blacks who supported Robert F.Williams, a Negro fugitive from justice in voluntary exile in Cuba. The leaders of the RAM encouraged all black people to follow this organization, but only the members of the organization seemed to be followers. The leadership of the March of Washington refused to follow them and refused their support. In 1966, RAM formed the Jamaica Rifle and Pistol Club for the purpose of holding firearms practice.
