SAMHSA Technical Assistance and Public Resources
Focus Area: Children and Families

Below is an inventory of SAMHSA’s technical assistance and public resources for issues related to children and families.  A rich web resource, it will provide information to service providers, program administrators, families, youth, consumers, SAMHSA grantees, and interested members of the public.  Generally, these TA resources help to increase awareness, educate, and provide valuable tools for use by States, communities, and individuals. TA resources, especially those designed to support SAMHSA's grantees, often incorporate an array of strategies and content areas.  TA approaches might include: information and knowledge development, conferences and workshops, telephone conferences, web resources, newsletters, as well as intensive technical assistance that is provided on site.
