Broadcaster Support

Each broadcaster is required to provide the Commission with a Consumer Referral contact number that will serve to receive both local viewer calls and referrals from the FCC’s National Call Center.  Some broadcasters have also provided us with information about walk in centers they are operating to serve their local communities.  This information is available at the link below, and will be updated on a weekly basis if broadcasters make any changes to this information.

We encourage broadcasters to provide detailed information about all of the opportunities for face-to-face DTV education of which they are aware. The Commission has established the following link for the voluntary reporting of such information: https://dtvsupport.fcc.gov/broadcaster-s/. The Commission's Public Notice, DA 09-807, released April 10, 2009, provides additional information for broadcasters about walk-in centers and other DTV outreach activities.
