National Coordination Office
for Space-Based PNT
As the secretariat of the National Executive Committee for Space-Based PNT, the National Coordination Office (NCO) is responsible for organizing meetings, tracking projects and tasks, coordinating interagency documents, etc. It is also responsible for developing the annual Five-Year National Plan for Space-Based PNT and assessing its implementation by the member agencies. The Terms of Reference for the NCO provide a complete description of its responsibilities and functions.
The NCO is located at the Department of Commerce's Herbert C. Hoover Building in Washington, D.C. (get travel directions). It is led by a Director and Deputy Director and includes a cadre of Senior Advisors from the member agencies:
