National Geospatial Report - An Agency Evaluation of USDA-NRCS Geospatial Assets and Activities With Findings and Recommendations for Geospatial Implementation

The National Geospatial Report presents the findings of the NRCS geospatial listening sessions, describes the value and importance of NRCS geospatial assets, and describes the advantages of implementing the Geospatial Framework. The Geospatial Framework is designed to meet the short- and long-term geospatial needs of the Agency, including the availability and utility of authoritative and actionable geospatial data and services.

The National Geospatial Report describes three desired geospatial outcomes and identifies the strategies needed to achieve the expected outcomes. These three geospatial outcomes reflect the expectations of NRCS, related to geospatial data, services, and technology. Additional information on outcomes and strategy can be found in the report.
