REVISED! Web Site "Exit Disclaimer" Web Standard

This standard applies to all non-governmental Web sites, including .net, .edu, .org, and .com sites, as well as to state, local and other non-federal .gov Web sites This applies also to all SAMHSA-funded web sites.

Standard:

SAMHSA Web sites, public and internal, must indicate to users when a link will take them to a Web site that is not sponsored, hosted or managed by one or more federal government entities by using the standard external link icon (see Requirements below). In addition, SAMHSA must disclaim these links with the standard disclaimer.

Exit Disclaimer Icon

SAMHSA must not use a disclaimer when linking to any federal government site. Please see http://www.dhhs.gov/web/policies/webstandards/disclaimer.html for more information..

Language:

The Exit Disclaimer language for all SAMHSA sites is :
