On March 22, 2007, at approximately 4:30 p.m., the USCP arrested four individuals in
the second floor hallway of the CHOB. These individuals were engaged in an unlawful
demonstration activity and were being loud and boisterous. At the direction of the
police commander on scene, the individuals were arrested and charged with disorderly
conduct. This action was taken under the exclusive authority of the USCP to maintain
order in the public areas of the Congressional Office Building.
