Indian and Native American Program Results for Individual Grantees
ETA's INA program also establishes "minimum standards" and
"performance goals" for the Entered Employment Rate (EER) and Positive Termination Rate (PTR)
for each INA grantee. The links below provide each grantee's actual outcome, minimum
standard and performance goal for PY 2002.
The last column provides a grade for each grantee.
Optional Measures for Individual GranteesGrantees must select three measures from the 13 optional "menu" of measures (see table below). The INA program's GPRA measures are included in the menu (measure 5 and measure 10) and performance is calculated for these two measures regardless if the grantee selects them as part of their three measures. While the EER and PTR are used for the program overall, the three measures that are actually selected by the grantee will be used as other indicators in determining grantee performance. Sanctions may be imposed on the grantee if it does not meet two of the three measures selected from the menu.
To see how each of the 13 measures is calculated, click the Menu of Measures. Additional information regarding the menu of measures can be found on page 9 of the CSP reporting form located at: http://www.doleta.gov/dinap/pdf/csp9084.pdf
Individual (and Aggregate) Performance on the 13 Optional MeasuresThe INA Menu Performance.pdf file provides performance data on the menu of measures. This file contains 23 separate tables which are self explanatory. However, additional information on some of the more important tables is provided below.
Grantee Efficiency (Average Cost Per Participant)The INA Efficiency Measure.pdf file provides the number of participants served, amount of funding awarded and the average cost per participant for program year 2002 for each Native American grantee. The average cost per participant is calculated by dividing the number of participants served by the grantee's annual funding award. The average cost per participant calculation is referred to as the "Efficiency" measure under the common performance measures. To view PDF files you need Acrobat reader. |
