CLASSROOM PROGRAMS
Invite a Park Ranger to visit your classroom for a hands-on, interactive educational program. Each program can be tailored to fit the specific needs of your group or selected from prepared programs.
TRAVELING TRUNKS
Borrow this marvelous tool designed to provide a variety of information about Idaho, as well as the sciences of paleontology and geology. Items include: casts of horse skulls, soil samples, books, videos, and hands-on activities. The trunks are developed for different grade levels: grades 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12.
CURRICULUM GUIDES
The guides are targeted for 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12 grade students. The lessons included help teachers use the Fossil Beds and traveling trunks as resources in teaching general science, math, history, social studies, and language arts, and specifically paleontology, geology, biology, ecology, and Idaho history.
HISTORICAL POUCHES
Help make the Oregon Trail come to life with this pouch overflowing with information, stories, activities, and games. Designed for use in the fourth grade it includes books of different reading levels. It is sure to become a fun addition to your Oregon Trail unit.
