  • California State University Northridge Career Center - Job Seeking Skills for People with Disabilities: A Guide to Success - A handbook for service providers to use as a counseling tool, or for individuals with disabilities to use on their own. Provides an overview of the career planning process, including considerations for the applicant with a disability.
  • The Office of Employment Support Programs - formerly the Division of Employment and Rehabilitation Programs, has recently been established to improve the Social Security Administration's service to people with disabilities who want to work.
  • Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) - In the FY2001 Department of Labor appropriation, Congress approved an Office of Disability Employment Policy to be headed by an Assistant Secretary. ODEP's mission is to provide leadership to increase employment opportunities for adults and youth with disabilities. ODEP is a federal agency in the Department of Labor. Its customers include: Individuals with disabilities and their families, private employers and their employees, federal, state, and local government agencies, educational and training institutions, disability advocates, and providers of services and government employers.
  • The Able to Work Consortium - A consortium of business leaders focused on facilitating a fundamental shift in attitudes and awareness about the abilities of people with disabilities. Able to Work is managed by the National Business & Disability Council, a national resource for the successful integration of persons with disabilities into the workforce and consumer marketplace.
