Heidi Langrehr

Heidi Langrehr

Heidi Langrehr graduated from the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse with a BS in Biology. She joined the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources in 1986 as part of the trout stream habitat rehabilitation crew. In 1989, she began working as a water quality specialist with the Long Term Resource Monitoring Program Mississippi River Pool 8 field station. In 1990, she transferred to the vegetation specialist position at the Pool 8 field station.

Heidi leads the vegetation component at the field station and is involved with vegetation data collection as well as data analysis and aerial photo interpretation of Pool 8. Heidi is interested in hunting, hiking, camping, horseback riding, reading, and playing with the grandkids.
