INTEGRAL U.S. Guest Observer Facility

The INTEGRAL Guest Observer Facility at GSFC

The mission of the INTEGRAL Guest Observer Facility at NASA/GSFC is to provide support for US-based scientists wishing to utilize INTEGRAL data in the research.

A mirror of the INTEGRAL public data archive at the ISDC in Versoix, Switzerland, is available through the HEASARC at NASA/GSFC. The data is accessible at either site via the HEASARC's W3Browse facility. The INTEGRAL archive at the HEASARC is maintained by the INTEGRAL GOF and HEASARC staffs.

The current INTEGRAL OSA software releases from the ISDC are also available from this website as binaries for the Linux, Solaris, and Mac OS X operatings systems as well as source code. In addition to the ESA INTEGRAL help desk, e-mail and telephone support to U.S. participants is available through the GOF.

The INTEGRAL Guest Observer Program is managed by ESA with data distribution and user support provided by the INTEGRAL Science Data Center (ISDC). The fifth observing cycle of the INTEGRAL mission (AO-5) began in August 2007 and will run until August 2008. For more information regarding the INTEGRAL Guest Observer Program can be found on our Proposals & Tools web page.
