This section presents information about abandoned hardrock mines and mineral processing sites listed in the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Information System (CERCLIS). This includes sites on the National Priorities List (NPL), often referred to as "Superfund Sites." The Agency also takes emergency response actions at many abandoned sites that are not listed on the NPL or CERCLIS.

NPL Sites - A list of mining and mineral processing sites on the NPL or deleted from the NPL
AML CERCLIS Inventory - A list of AML sites from CERCLIS, EPA's database of hazardous waste sites, potential hazardous waste sites, and remedial activities across the nation.
