Welcome to the Office of the Chief Health and Medical Officer (OCHMO). From the astronaut corps to the workers on the ground, sea, air and space, OCHMO is responsible for policy and oversight of medicine at NASA.

NASA T-38 aircraft. The NASA Chief Health and Medical Officer (CHMO) is Richard S. Williams MD FACS.

The OCHMO consists of three divisions: Medicine of Extreme Environments, Medical Policy and Ethics and Occupational Health.
