FDA MERGES BROADCAST AND PRINT MEDIA OFFICES

FDA's Office of Public Affairs is merging its Broadcast and Print Media offices into one Media Relations Staff effective today.

The re-organization will allow FDA's Office of Public Affairs to make more efficient use of its resources and personnel and to provide FDA with greater flexibility in responding to the media.

The Media Relations Staff will combine the press and broadcast personnel from the former staffs and will provide a "one stop" resource for all general media inquires concerning FDA.
