February 2008 Multi-Stakeholder Meeting
On February 20, 2008, we held the "Multi-Stakeholder Engagement on New/Revised Recreational Water Quality Criteria", where we:
- Updated stakeholders on activities since the December 2006 Multi-stakeholder meeting (PDF) (10 pp., 194 K);
- Provided an overview of and clarifications to (PDF) (7 pp., 166 K) EPA's Critical Path Science Plan;
- Reported on Critical Path Science Plan progress (PDF) (5 pp., 25 K);
- Provided stakeholders with an introduction to Quantitative Microbial Risk Assessment (PDF) (17pp., 470 K).
- Received stakeholder input on:
- research directions for inland waters (PDF) (8 pp., 138 K);
- desired attributes of new criteria (PDF) (7 pp., 18 K); and
- how best to engage stakeholders during Critical Path Science Plan implementation and criteria development through 2012.
Also provided are the meeting highlights, including a list of select questions and answers from input sessions (PDF) (6 pp., 38 K).
