Objective:
To develop and formulate effective management strategies for the potato psyliid to reduce damages caused by zebra chip disease to potato.

Approach:
Develop management tools for zebra chip potato disease by conducting insecticide efficacy trials against the potato psyllid in southern California. Also, determine less toxic and biorational peesticides suitable for potato psyllid control. Documents SCA with UC Riverside.
