The Office of Inspector General (OIG) completed an inspection of computer hard drives at the Kennedy Space Center. The objective was to conduct spot check inspections of computer hard drives in a disposal or excess status and to test the drives for removal of NASA data and licenses vendor software. NASA concurred with the report's three recommendations which addressed improved management controls and operational effectiveness.
