Back To School Special, October 5, 2000, Women of NASA and our Young
Women of NASA Advisory Council present an all day series of chats, forums,
and webcasts featuring select female leaders from a broad spectrum of
professions within NASA. The day culminated in a live launch webcast
from Kennedy Space Center featuring our young women.

as she hosts Mars experts in a debate on the landing site for the next
2003 Mars Rovers expeditions.
- Brave New World - Satellite Broadcast and WebcastTeleconference,
September 27, 2000 / NASA and the US Department of Labor Women's Bureau
have joined forces to narrow the wage gap and work toward gender equity
by increasing girls' and women's interest in - and preparedness for
- math, science, engineering and technology. This satellite teleconference
is just one of many joint efforts these agencies are sponsoring to encourage
women to pursue and persist in high-tech careers.
