NBDA Youth Empowerment Summit (Y.E.S.!) Application Deadline Extended
NBDA celebrates the Youth Empowerment Summit (Y.E.S.!)'s commitment to African-American Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Youths for 11th Year on July 28-August 1, 2009 at Scottsdale, Arizona. Y.E.S.! is a summer program designed to meet the leadership, non-academic educational, and social needs of African-American Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Youths. HUD Produces Videos to Educate Deaf Community About Housing
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development announced that it has produced videos on YouTube and FaceBook to educate Deaf and hard-of-hearing consumers about their fair housing rights, housing counseling services, and loan programs offered by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA).

Communication Service for the Deaf (CSD) offers digital television (DTV) transition website, on behalf of FCC, to provide helpful information for Deaf and hard-of-hearing community to understand the transition process of the digital television.
