Dear Tribal IV-D Director:

The Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) anticipates that the Computerized Tribal IV-D Systems and Office Automation Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM) will be published soon. In anticipation of the published NPRM, the following consultations are scheduled:

Attendees to the consultation are advised that only comments and recommendations, submitted in writing, will be responded to as we prepare the final version of the regulation. Further, at the consultations we cannot address participants' concerns regarding the proposed rules, or respond to questions about the proposed rules other than questions asking for clarification.

Please also be advised that OCSE will not reimburse travel costs for attendance at these events. You must arrange and pay for your own travel, lodging, meals and incidental expenses. Attendance will be limited to two representatives per Tribe. Please contact either Donna McBurnett at dmmcburnett@acf.hhs.gov, or Tanesha Canzater at tanesha.canzater@acf.hhs.gov, if you are interested in participating in the consultation. Your attendance at this consultation does not, in any way, limit you, any member of your Tribe, or anyone else from also submitting written comments and recommendations in accordance with the instructions provided in the NPRM.
