The Office of Health Policy (HP) provides policy analysis and research support for program development and Departmental initiatives related to Medicare, State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), Medicaid, the uninsured, health promotion, disease prevention, health service delivery, and health care quality issues. HP staff has a wide range of knowledge and skills relevant to the cross-cutting programs and policy issues addressed by the following Operational Divisions within the Department.
